1. Shop the easy way

We want it to be easily and simultaneously a good experience to use our web shop. As a customer in our shop, it is important that you read our terms and conditions carefully and then accept them as described below. 

Place the products in the basket and go to the payment terminal once you are done shopping. We send an email with confirmation of your order and will ship your order within 1-3 business days. 

Please note – the shipping cost will appear on the final invoice and we strive naturally to offer the cheapest possible shipping cost.

2. Payment

Accepted credit cards:  VISA/DANKORT, VISA, MASTERCARD, VISA ELECTRON, MAESTRO, JCB CARDS, DINERS CLUB and AMERICAN EXPRESS. 

When using credit cards, we will not charge you a fee. The data you submit in connection with purchases paid with credit card is encrypted (SSL) and it is only PBS that can read them. Neither Byliving.dk or others have the opportunity to read this data. 

The amount will be deducted from your account, the same day the order is shipped. There can never be deducted an amount greater than what you have approved when you placed the order. We store all orders generated in connection with a purchase in the web shop. We encourage you to do the same. 

We also reserve the right to screen data (including payment data) if we suspect abuse or that there is a criminal intent / action as the basis for the purchase. A few minutes after you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation via email. 

Please note, that if this is the first time you shop with Byliving.dk, you must pay the goods before they are shipped from our warehouse. 

Once approved and established in our customer database, we offer 8 days credit and send an invoice, when the order is shipped from our warehouse. 

All prices are excl. VAT and in Danish kroner, unless otherwise stated. Prices are only valid in Denmark, excl. Faroe Islands and Greenland.

4. Shipping and Delivery 

Please note that the order confirmation you receive after ordering on our website, does not include shipping costs. Shipping cost will appear on the final invoice, and naturally strive to offer the cheapest possible shipping rate. 

Stoneware/pottery/glass, are sent on pallets and are insured during transportation. We strive to ensure that all orders are shipped 2-3 business days from ordering date if it’s in stock. 

We use GLS and DB Schenker to deliver all our cargo and packages in Denmark. 

Upon delivery of the goods in Germany, Sweden, and Norway, we use another supplier. 

We ship worldwide. If you live in other countries than the above, we will contact you regarding the shipping cost.

Byliving ApS cannot be held responsible for delay of delivery with GLS, DB Schenker or any other transportation company. 

5. Safety

We secure your information by using Security Socket Layer (SSL) technology, which is one of the safest IT systems that exist in relation to ensuring that your submitted data (including payment data) cannot be misused by third parties. 

Your information will be encrypted from the moment you join the checkout flow, which means that no third party will be able to interpret and misusing the data entered. Data will be stored on a public server. 

6. Complaints

All our products undergo a quality check before we ship them. Should there, however be any problem or broken items, please send us an email with a photo and a brief description concerning the problem.

PLEASE NOTE:

1. You will lose your right to a full or partly refund if:

6. You have not followed the restrictions on the right of withdrawal arising from sealing mm.
7. NB: When returning products, you will have to pay the shipping cost yourselves, unless the return is regarding a complaint. We do not accept products sent by COD. You always have a two-year warranty on products purchased at byliving.dk, according to the Danish law.

Byliving.dk take all obligations to our customers seriously and this also concerns the way in which we handle the data you provide to us. Byliving.dk undertakes all applicable laws and regulations regarding privacy.

It’s up to you whether to disclose additional personal information. We collect personal information so that you can log in to Byliving.dk to send you messages, to send you e-mails with updates, news and special offers, and to answer your questions or comments. 

Permission from you

We will send you updates by e-mail, unless you deselect this option. Personal data is sent encrypted to Byliving.dk but not stored encrypted (credit card information is not stored). Data is stored as a minimum of five years referred to legislation. 

The controller in Byliving.dk is the Director (CEO). Refer to the Personal Data Act. You can always get an insight into what information we have on you as a customer. Simply send us an email and we will assist you with the requested information. 

However, you must be able to prove that you are indeed the person you say you are so that we do not disclose the information to third parties. 

How do I unsubscribe from emails?

Our policy is that users anytime, can unsubscribe our newsletters. You do this by clicking on the link “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of the email you received. 

Alternatively, you can send an email to customer service. If you have asked us not to send you more e-mails, and you still get them, it is due to the fact, that the e-mail address you sent your request from, is not the same we use for when we send you mails. 

See the address we use and send the address with your request not to receive further emails from us. You can do this easily by returning all the unwanted e-mail. The e-mail address we are sending to is at the bottom of the email. 

Who processes your information?

Byliving.dk (and the employed in the company which work on this site, process and use the information you give us, so that we can respond to your feedback – eg. answer questions, improve our services and target our services so that they meet your needs). 

In addition, we will not share your information with other companies without your permission, unless required by law, you have won a prize or if you have asked to receive concrete information.
